This is a hardworking four piece band that consists of two brothers and two cousins who started up in January of 2008. Singing and playing guitar is Chris Sampogna with brother Anthony behind the drums; Playing Lead Guitar is Dan Lukasiewic and Patrick “Chi Chi” Rutter holds it down on bass. They share a mutual love for old school rock with a fresh melodic sound, while making the band different than any other act that they might be compared to.
Because of their rigorous routines of rehearsal, writing, and constant pursuit in being the band they know they can be, High Tolerance has quickly checked off some accomplishments in a short period of time. Since the beginning of 2009 alone, the band has made their first appearances on both radio and television. New York’s music television show “HomeGrown” featured the band’s interview and video for their first single “With us Against us” which continues to air. Rockin Renegade Radio most recently picked up the latest EP titled “The Water’s Edge” which is now being streamed on over twenty different online radio sites.
As they gain momentum from their newest songs like “Stun Dead Ghost” and “Days Gone By”, they have been on the road touring the Northeast and playing shows all over Long Island as well as New York City.
Their newest EP titled “The Water’s Edge” can be found on Itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, CDBaby as well as other online distributors.
