About me:
I don't much care for MySpace, let's start there. I resent having to create my own MySpace page in order to leave comments or view pictures on other MySpace pages. Even the capital S in the middle of "MySpace" bothers me. It's so obnoxious. And I hate that my first "friend" -- everybody's first "friend" -- is also named Tom. Every time I see a reference to "Tom" it feels like I'm reading messages I left for myself that I can't remember writing.

That said, here I am, so I might as well make the best of it. It took me a while to come to that decision; I signed up to MySpace over a year ago.

I like comic books. I hate George W. Bush. I enjoy complaining. I enjoy making jokes even more. I'm a crabby old man before my time. My bark is worse than my bite. And I'm as handsome as the day is long, as far as you know.
Who I'd like to meet:
First of all, that should read "WHOM I'd like to meet." Stupid MySpace.

HALL OF FAME, DEAD: Charles Schulz, Kurt Vonnegut.

HALL OF FAME, ALIVE: George Carlin, Pete Townshend.

I am so offended by that comment below me. I thought this would be a strictly PG site. My goodness! Have a fun, safe trip and we'll see you at The Candletree when you get home!

The Con is even more insanely crowded than I was expecting. But I love the overloading stimuli - it's like an acid trip, shared with thousands of geeks and hipsters and kids that are way too young to be wandering around unattended.

Tom,

I look forward to the day when we can share huge, copious amounts of alcoholic beverages and check out gorgeous women.

Though not necessarily in that order.
