Basically he does this thing, yeah, where he plays predefined pitches according to scales, and then he puts them with other notes, both harmonically and melodically, then it sounds just awesome.

Tom Milsom played music quite a lot when he was little. Then as he grew up he decided he wasn't getting enough attention, so he put some songs on the internet to see what happened. Fangirls happened, and a global feature on YouTube's front page, which garnered him an element of fame, or as much fame as you can get from being on the internet. Yeah, he's not famous at all.
Undaunted by this sudden onslaught of vague acceptance, Tom ploughed through and released his debut album (which sounds so PROFESSIONAL!) Awkward Ballads for the Easily-Pleased. This achieved a murmur of critical success and has sold literally tens of copies to this day. Maybe even hundreds.
Unquenched in his thirst for world domination, Milsom then continued to write songs at a furious pace and generally whore himself out to anyone who would have him, thus rapidly ascending the YouTube hierarchy. In early 2009 he realised he had enough songs for another album, which many had clamoured for for some time - considerably more people than had bought the first fucking one, but that's the internet for you.
Properly recorded in a studio and EVERYTHING, and backed by 19 Entertainment (y'know, that one that manages the Beckhams) his next album, Painfully Mainstream, is due out in summer 2009, and will be really quite amazing.
