Hello, I'm a trumpeter, flügelhornist, composer in Berlin and London. Mainly playing trio with Jasper Høiby and Stu Ritchie (Arthurs.Høiby.Ritchie), and duos with pianist Richard Fairhurst and electronics wizard Simon Vincent... also new Berlin projects in trio with Miles Perkin and Yorgos Dimitriadis and a new band with Phil Gropper and Marc Lohr.

I'm lucky enough to be a BBC New Generation Artist between 2008 and 2010, which has resulted in commissions for the BBC Proms and the City of London Festival. I've just finished recording some works inspired by Pushkin with Richard Fairhurst, and also a cd of quiet very intimate improvisations with Simon Vincent, both for release in 2010... these mark a bit of a new stage for me... I'll be posting some mp3s here fairly soon, once we know what's going on with the releases... There's also going to be something for AHR and the Elysian Quartet in 2010.

I'm generally pretty inspired by anyone who stays true to their principles and who can delight and ridicule in the questions of who we are and why we're here... and make a good chocolate cake of course...
