Tomas Haverlik represents and delivers the ultimate Slovak progressive sound to the highest quality in the genre to date. His activities root in a project back in 1999, known as Haverlik & Tkac. These two producers made great music together as they had similar passions and mind set; their dedication and love for trance music pushed them in directions that caused a revolution within the trance scene, contributing to the birth of the EuroTrance style in german-speaking countries.

They where greatley impacted by the huge change that they had caused in the trance scene; however, the style became so popular that some west-european countries missed the point of this style completely, and the duo felt that it had become shallow and empty, in need of innovation. These two artists kept their focus and determination, and -driven by their own dreams and potential- they searched deeper, finding what they had missed in the emerging UK progressive scene.

The explosion of this scene was so innovative in the way music was created, the two were blown away. The new futuristic sounds and beats gavethem many new ideas. Thanks to the influeneces of such tradmarks of the scene as John Digweed, Sasha, Satoshi Tomiie, and Sister Bliss, the duo took to the studio for months of production. The progressive trance which these well-known artists produce today is definitely UK-influenced, yet their creation is hard to label, including house, electro and even breakbeat influences. Their goal to play on emotions; different elements layer in their tracks, resulting in a strong atmospheric texture, and each song has a unique persona. The rhythmic style is characterized by a kick-through base with percussion samples twisted around, and a huge amount of effects and studio wizardry.

Haverlik & Tkac soon received recognition by music labels back in 2002. The first of their tracks "Hannah" by Tomas Haverlik- was considered a true breakthrough in music production, one of the reasons why it still is recognized as a progressive anthem today. The second release of this duo, "Tyra", is still in many Dj’s boxes the world over, such as Deep Dish, Deepsky, Hernan Cattaneo, John ..OO.. Flemming, Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, and Satoshi Tomiie. Their following release, "Synthia", triggered a very similar reaction and lead to many remixes on many labels. Their latest release, "Noel", feat. vocals by Misha -a well known Slovak artist- is out now and is being greatly received. Right now, another release is on its way, a remix for a new track by Deepsky, which will be released in late 2006.

After hosting many radio mix set sessions, Tomas made a break through and landed his own special slot on ETN.fm. Tomas is now a resident at a regular event called EVOLUTION in Ostrava(Czech Republic), feat. the best prog-trance artists from around the world. He is not slowing down: a true studio junkie, he is considered a vital member of the UK label Baroque Records, and he is working on many new tracks and remixes to be relased very soon.
