Tomasz Trzciński - pianista, dyrygent, kompozytor i aranżer. Studiował w Akademii Muzycznej w Gdańsku (Kompozycja i Teoria muzyki) a następnie na Uniwersytecie im Johannesa Gutenberga w Mainz, w klasie wybitnej polskiej pianistki Lidii Grychtołówny (Fortepian) i prof. Josharda Dausa (Dyrygentura). W czasie studiów uczestniczył w wielu projektach orkiestrowo chóralnych organizowanych przez EuropaChorAkademie, w czasie ktrych wykonywal i nagrywal dziela oratoryjne i symfoniczne pod batuta wielu slawnych dyrygentow jak chociazby Michael Gielen, Gerd Albrecht, Sylvain Cambreling, Pierre Boulez czy Sir Simon Rattle. Doświadczenia te dały mu podstawy do kształtowania swojej własnej drogi twórczej, szczególnie w zakresie dyrygentury. Wpływ na jego postawę artystyczną mialła także wieloletnia współpraca z prof. Manfredem Reichertem, twórcą i szefem artystycznym „Ensemble 13“, wybitnym interpretatorem muzyki współczesnej oraz animatorem wielu współczesnych festiwali muzyki. Doświadczenie w grze Jazzowej zdobywał zaś Trzciński pod kierunkiem znanych i cenionych muzyków jazzowych: perkusisty Janusza Stefańskiego i kontrabasisty Witolda Reka. Prowadzenia Symfonicznych orkiestr detych uczyl sie u Felixa Hauswirtha oraz znanego aranzera i dyrygenta Stevena Verhaerta. Tomasz Trzcinski jest artystą o wszechstronnych zainteresowaniach muzycznych, zajmuje się tak klasyką jak i jazzem, zarówno kompozycją, aranżacją jak i improwizacją solową i zespolową, muzyką elektroniczną i komputerową. Koncertuje jako solista, kameralista i dyrygent, prowadzi orkiestry klasyczne i big-bandy, akompaniuje solistom, uczy gry na fortepianie, od kilku lat prowadzi także wlasną firmę produkcji muzycznych - Musikproduktion Tomasz Trzcinski. W roku 2006 nagrał i wydał swój pierwszy dwupłytowy album CD - "Blue Mountains" z "The Köln Concert" Keitha Jarretta i własnymi kompozycjami, obecnie zaś ukazała się płyta DVD z koncertem w DUO R-T, na której Tomasz Trzciński gra wspólnie z saksofonistą Stefanem Reißerem klasykę i improwizacje. Jako pianista został Tomasz Trzcinski z dużym uznaniem przyjęty przez niemiecką krytykę, która jego wirtuozowską i głeboką grę okresliła jako: "Eins mit Flügel ("Jednośc z fortepianem“).

Tomasz Trzciński - Pianist, Dirigent, Komponist und Arrangeur. Er studierte in Musikakademie in Danzig/Polen Komposition und Musiktheorie, anschließend an der Universität Mainz bei der berühmten polnischen Pianistin Lidia Grychtolowna (Klavier) und bei Prof. J. Daus (Chor und Orchesterleitung). Tomasz Trzciński ist ein Künster mit einem sehr breiten musikalischen Horizont. Er beschäftigt sich mit klassischer Musik ebenso wie mit Jazz, mit Komposition wie mit Arrangements sowie mit Solo- und Gruppenimprovisationen in verschieden Formationen. Tomasz Trzcinski verbindet in seinen Improvisationen am Klavier Elemente der klassischen Musik, des Jazz und traditioneller polnischer Musik. Im Moment des Spiels entsteht aus der musikalischen Idee eine ganze Geschichte, dabei entlockt der Pianist seinem Instrument über mitreisenden Grooves eine grosse Palette an Klangfarben. In seinem individuellen Still verschmelzen traditionelle und moderne Elemente aus dem Universum der Musik. Er konzertiert als Pianist, leitet klassiche Orchester, Blasorchester und Big-Bands, begleitet Solisten am Klavier und ist als Klavierpädagoge tätig. Tomasz Trzciński ist Gründer und Inhaber einer Firma für musik-produktionen. Im Jahr 2006 hat Tomasz Trzciński seine erste CD mit dem Köln Concert von Keith Jarrett und eigenen Improvisationen aufgenommen. Als Pianist hat Tomasz Trzcinski in der Presse ein herausragendes Lob erhalten: sein virtuoses und tiefgehendes Spiel habe ihn "Eins mit Flügel" werden lassen.

The Polish pianist Tomasz Trzciński began his musical education with the piano at the age of seven at the school of music in his home town, Szczecin. Already in his parental home he was surrounded by music of all kinds; in particular, his father's fascination for jazz had an effect on him. During his early education he also received interesting impulses through his Russian teacher from Slavonic music. After completing grammar school specialising in music, from 1993 to 1999 he studied composition and musical theory at the Academy of Music, Gdańsk. For several years, he was an active participant of the EuropaChor-Akademie. There he received considerable impulses for his artistic work, not least in the field of contemporary music, and played in major concert halls including the Carnegie Hall New York. From 2000 to 2005, he was a student of the renowned Polish pianist Lidia Grychtołówna and the conductor Joshard Daus at the Rhineland-Palatinate College of Music in Mainz. He studied contemporary music under Manfred Reichert (leader of the “Ensemble 13”). Renowned jazz musicians, such as Vitold Rek and Janusz Stefanski have also played important roles in his education.Tomasz Trzciński is actively engaged in concert work, with the main emphasis on New Music and improvisation, often placing improvised works in the context of classical compositions. A series of concerts with the “Köln Concert” by Jarrett and works by J.S. Bach and D. Shostakovich filled audiences with enthusiasm on account of the exceptional concept and an interpretation of high standard, with great culture of sound, enormous breadth of tonal variation and virtuosity. In September 2004, Tomasz Trzciński was guest with his own improvisations at the anniversary of the Darmstadt broadcasting station “Radio Darmstadt”. In 2005, he gave a guest performance in the Theater an der Adelheidstrasse with the “Köln Concert” by Keith Jarrett and a programme of his own improvisations. In December 2005, he played the Polish premiere of the “Köln Concert” in Szczecin. In addition to his work as a soloist, Tomasz Trzciński is also intensively engaged as an accompanist to singers and chamber musician. Apart from that, he works as a composer and arranger, experiments with recording techniques for the sound of the piano, and handles the most modern composition techniques in the technical studio in just as commanding and virtuoso a manner as his instrument, the piano.
