About me:
The idea of creating a pizza place for everyone to enjoy, started with the inability to find a decent slice of “Pie” on the entire West Coast. For ten years I tried every place that called itself authentic “NY style pizza”, like most NY transplants I always came away disappointed in one way or another. If it had the sauce, it was missing the crust. If it was crispy it had no flavor. If it had some of those elements, it was missing an ounce of decent service. I had to ask myself, “What happened to the places I grew up eating? A place that was easy, accessible, fast and friendly. Do I really have to pay twenty dollars for a freaking good pizza? As my father would say whenever he didn’t buy a word I was saying, “Come oooooooonnn!! You serious?? Get the !*^@ Otta heeer!!!
With that, came the inspiration to bring these elements to you and everyone who might enjoy a little East Coast Flavor with their West Coast Style. Our eclectic mix of design, recipes and music is meant to pay homage to the things that seem to be increasingly missing from the fabric of our culture.
