it's funny, because the first time i heard the song was through conniff's love story album. and i loved it immediately. then, of course, i saw the movie. recently, since this has been one of those "forgotten songs from the past", a friend of mine, Rumer, who has an excellent voice, asked me what songs she should cover... my first choice, was "come saturday morning". well, she is recording it now, with her friend steve. i can hardly wait to hear her cover. i will keep you posted. thank you for sharing your precious stories with me.
