About me:
.. .... This is my website: www.tombell.org
Hello there. Now that myspace is so "square" i don't really update this page too much. But I'm glad you're here all the same! I'm a comedian and writer, performing solo with my stand up and in a double act as part of the brilliant "tommy and the weeks"
this is our website: http://www.tommyandtheweeks.co.uk
The other half is that Ed Weeks. Together we are "gloriously surreal" (the guardian) and had The Scotsman newspaper give us 5 stars (which is the most you can get) "a made in heaven comedy double act" Check our website for details and gigs (if and when updated) and we are currently working on some TV projects and filmed a few bits for BBC Online (check THEM out!)
www.tombell.org. (they aren't)
I have also done three full, solo Edinburgh Fringe Shows including "the lost tapes of tom bell" in which I interviewed tapes of myself aged 7 (whilst the audience painted me and ate crumpets) which became a sleeper hit at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe; a "hot show" pick in The Scotsman and described by The Guardian as "a truly high-quality show... It's meticulous and sweet... contextualised by good jokes and perfect timing" and most recently with "Hey Tom Bell!" which was a sell out show about learning to be happy in the face of cynicism which I performed in an actual cave (fun!)
I live in London, a city which in 1666 got pretty badly burnt but was lovingly restored, though later got bombed a lot. I really do plan to update my websitewww.tombell.org
soon
