BLAIR HOSTS OPEN MIC NIGHT @ 1923 CAFE EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT To me, open mics at their best are revolutionary. They give people an opportunity to share themselves, artistically and politically with other folks in their communities. They give artists a venue to try new material and rework the old in front of an audience. They provide a venue for folks to come see some music and poetry, theater, comedy, demonstration for a pretty low price if not free. And on a more personal note, they financially have helped me maintain a bit of a living. I'm a very good host. I'll do my best to make everyone feel comfortable and to keep things moving in a manner that remains at least, mostly entertaining.
OPEN MIC TUESDAYS W/ BLAIR 1923 CAFE 7 PM UNTIL 9 PM $2 SUGGESTED DONATION 2287 HOLBROOK ST. HAMTRAMCK, MI 313-319-8766
