You can be an agnostic and claim that I'm crazy for believing that Jesus Christ was who He said He was (In your Bible look for John 14:6). But I tell you, you are very, very wrong. To believe that some primitive form of matter formed out of nothing is ludicrous. Something had to form matter. Nothing plus nothing equals nothing not something. But something from nothing equals something. Or in other words you can't have something with nothing! Do you get it? It's common sense. Someone had to make this planet. And that someone was God. No one else could have made this planet or any other planet that could have spawned this one. It does not follow any logical principle. What does follow logic is finding out who God is and why we are here.

If I ever sit down and talk with you, you would probably hear about TrueLife.org. TrueLife® offers a website dedicated to answering life's hard questions for people that aren't likely to attend church or a religious meeting. We had 84,000 members for Myspace advertising decency and their voices were decimated. A hacker brought our group offline and then MySpace gave control of our group to the hacker. It seems a little suspicious! But we will keep fighting and learn from our lessons!
The biggest lesson we learned is that we need to communicate with you better.

The most important thing about me is that everyday I'm blessed to know Jesus as my Savior. You see in the past I have lied, cheated, stolen things, and lusted (The Bible says lusting is the same as commiting adultery and hating is the same as murder), I broke the Ten Commandments, God's law. I was going to Hell because that is the just punishment for my sin.
News Flash: God does send people like me and you to Hell.
But because of God's great love for humanity He allowed a way for us to be forgiven through Jesus. And that's why Jesus is such a big deal to me. Jesus Christ is my Savior because He lived a perfect life with no sin so when He was killed for us on the cross He conquered sin and death and he proved it when He rose from the dead. His sacrifice on the cross was more than enough to pay for my sin... and for yours. When you accept Christ as your Savior you are given a new life and are born again.
Ah.. Yes, born again.
Not to long ago, Jesus told a man named Nicodemus, a leader in the synagogue, "I assure you: Unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” “But how can anyone be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked Him. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born?” Jesus answered, “I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit."
So why would Jesus ever say such a thing? He is pointing out the separation from God because of sin. Humans have been infected with a disease called sin resulting in the absence of the Holy Spirit at birth. So this makes you spiritually dead and no doctor or electronic shock can make you spiritually alive.
Ah! but Jesus Can :)
Jesus, the only Savior, can make your dead Spirit alive! Romans 6:23 says "The wages of sin is death, BUT the gift of God is eternal life." John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." Scripture says that, "I have come that you might have life." Jesus didn't say "so you can have more life" but life itself. This is what true life is!
How did I have true life by being born again?
1. I realized that I was sinner. I'm not a good person. I think bad thoughts and sometime do them... I'm not alone, the Bible says, “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)." That means if you have any sin in your life, you are going to hell. But here is the great news! The Bible says in Romans 6:23 that "The wages of sin is death (Hell), BUT :) the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus(Romans 6:23)! You see God demonstrated love for us that while we were sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). He died for US! For you and for me so that we could be offered a new life free from the law of sin and death.
2. I recognized that Jesus Christ died on the cross for me. Do you realize that NO body has ever or can ever claim that Jesus wasn't here! It's a historical fact! Jesus was here. So you have to ask yourself like I did; was Jesus lying when He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life in John 14:6? Every one says Jesus was a good man but remember good men and liars don't mix. Just like you (sinner) and God don't mix. You see when you trust in Jesus, God sees Jesus righteousness and Holiness on judgment day, not our own, which is a good thing because we don't have any apart from Christ.
3. I repented of my sin. The Bible says to “repent and be converted” (Acts 3:19 NKJV). The word repent means to change direction in life. Instead of running from God, I accepted the reality that Jesus died for me and I ran to God. It's the best run you will ever have :) You have new life with Him. You could loose everything here on earth and have incredible joy because you belong to God.
4. I received Jesus Christ into my life and became born again.
By becoming a Christian I did not merely believe some creed. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . . .” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV). And that is when you are reborn :)
As you now know, you have to be born again to go to heaven; born of the flesh, and of the spirit. It's better for man never to be born than for him not to be born again. Do you want to be born again?
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved (Romans 10:9-13)."
Pray this prayer with me,
Almighty God, I want to be saved and born again today, because I know that I am a sinner. I know right now, my sins have separated me from you. I believe you sent your Son Jesus to die for my sins on the cross. I believe He rose from the dead and is alive today, I ask you to forgive me of my sins, and I trust Jesus Christ to be my Savior and Lord. Help me live for Him. In Jesus' name, my Savior and Lord, amen.
If you just prayed that prayer and meant it! You are truly, truly born again! This is your new birthday :) It's the Birthday that really counts!!!! You talk about gifts for your Birthday! You will never find a greater gift than Jesus for all time! I'm so happy for you!

i read your bulletin about praying for our nation, and the voting issues. We def need to pray, that God will send a christian first off, and put someone in there that will b ring this nation back up from the hole we have deeply dug for ourselves!!!! we should keep in touch more often now that i have a computer that works lol, have a good weekend, take care, and keep in touch!!
It makes me so happy that you have a dctalk music video on your page. I want them to do a reunion tour so bad. Re-living all the memories from youth group...so fun!
I am writing asking that you pray for me. I just got a phone call from the people I am l living with yesterday saying that they will be needed the room that I have been staying in back by the middle of next month. Which gives me two weeks to find another place to live. I am looking to stay in Riverside so that I can continue working here and fellowshipping with my church family. It would really be a blessing if you can keep me in your prays. Please pray that God will open up a place for me to stay. I have already been seeking out places. Thank you so much for your time. Each one of you is such a blessing in my life. I hope that you are having a wonderful week. God bless!

I’ve just posted a new blog. The new blog is the first installment of an 8 part series entitled, “The Process…”, which gives a basic understanding of the Christian’s daily walk. It is not intended to be an in depth theological study, but its overall purpose is to bring a basic understanding of the process we all, as Christians, must go through.
It seems necessary to present this because some of us become Christians and we have terms that are thrown at us without an explanation of what these terms mean to our new life. This series is designed to take us from the point wherein we are commanded by God to “be holy because He is holy…” to the point wherein we can say “I am holy…”
One cannot go from the point of “be…” to the place of “I am…” without having a basic knowledge of the process. We, first, hear the command to “be…”. Then, we acknowledge the fact that we need to “be…”, and we begin to walk on the path of “I am becoming…”. Once we have finished our journey in the process, we will be able to say “I am…”
It is my prayer that this series will birth in you a desire to continue to engage in an in depth studying of this process after the series has concluded, and that you will continue to walk through this process knowing that there is a reward on the other side of the journey that makes it worth every moment of every thing you may be facing in life.
