Tom Cottone is a NJ based drummer. Schooled at Berklee and Drummers Collective, he has toured the US and Europe, performed on Tv shows, and at jazz and music festivals across the country. Currently, he is the drummer for the band The Churchills whose music can be heard on such shows as The Sopranos, Scrubs, ER and the MTV show Juvies. He also performs with jazz guitarist/composer Bd Lenz, who records for the jazz label, Apria records. He is also the drummer for NJ based pop/soul singer Rhys. Television appearances include the Jon Stewart Show, FXs Morning Show, News 12s Jerseys Talking, City Sessions, Homegrown Music and MTV. Other artists Tom has played with include Randy Brecker, Ada Rovatti, Ritchie Cannata, Jeff Levine, Glenn McClelann, Gary Mazzaroppi, Herb Pomeroy, Hal Crook, Oscar Stagnaro, Roy Hargrove, Scott Kinsey, One More Once, Emedin Rivera, Fossil, Blowup, Pat Karwin, The Flying Mueller Brothers, Spiraling, Chris Cheney, Rob Paparozzi, Gina Fox, Dennis Greunling, Joe Vadala, Jerry Topinka, and Electric Breakwater. He also does numerous recording sessions and freelance gigs in the NY/NJarea, teaches privately, and does clinics for Bucks County Drum Co. He is a HUGE NY Yankees fan, likes good Italian food (not that Olive Garden crap), microbrews, muscle cars, and warm tropical locations.
