I have an extensive and wide-ranging band of interests than include: Art (Animation and illustration), Photography, Poetry, Music, Film, Sports [Football, Swimming, Scuba Diving, Cycling, Snowboarding, Cricket, Golf, and Ultimate Frisbee for Manchester Uni].
Other interests include: TEFL (certified 2005), First Aid, Cookery, Cartoons, Comedy, Languages, Writing, Socialising and Travel – I have visited 5 continents!
I derive most pleasure from these latter three hobbies. My aim is to be a successful travel writer/ photographer and a novelist. I’m a creative person and delight in activities and projects that allow me to express and explore my creative side (see my website).

About me: I am a 26 year old writer / amateur photographer who sometimes sends articles to Reader's Wives under the psedonym Deirdre - the pay is shit and takes ages! I am currently attempting freelance travel, gig, and student articles. I have had some (mostly unpaid) success. I am currently writing a sketch show, which I intend to send to the BBC. I have a few ideas for a Northern sitcom, not quite as camp as Ricky Gervais' wind effort in Extras.
I have completed a degree in Media and Cultural Studies and eat sandwiches even though I am allergic to wheat, because I like to live dangerously.
I have also completed a Masters Degree in Novel Writing from Manchester University and am currently looking for a job in the media that allows me to be creative, but will probably settle for a no-brainer so i can write in the evenings.
Oh yeah, I have big sideburns as well, drink tea and like cartoons. I have travelled to 48 countries.
