A young and talented dj and producer from Tricity, currently residing in Sopot. At present, the nickname Spankin under which he has been performing previously serves as his alter-ego for his turntablism projects and the moniker Material is associated with his output, which is set in the deeper often minimal and dark side of d’n’b. He likes to travel in space and time and draw inspirations from these trips for his productions. Among the people whose work Material deems most influential are Bill Laswell, Future Sound of London, Underworld, Fanu and Loxy. So far Material has played along the likes of Inside Info, Eveson, Atmospherix, S13, Intakz and Tidal. He believes that every type of music can be good, but the power of affecting emotions and imagination and psychedelia is what he values most and this can be heard in his tracks, as well as in his dj sets.
Młody i utalentowany dj oraz producent z Trójmiasta, na chwilę obecną zamieszkały w Sopocie. Pseudonim Spankin, pod którym znany był wcześniej obecnie służy mu jako alter ego do produkcji muzyki turntablistycznej, z kolei jako Material prezentuje dzisiaj swoją twórczość osadzoną w głębszej stronie d’n’b. Podróżuje w czasie i przestrzeni, czerpiąc z tych wypraw pomysły na swoje produkcje a wśród postaci, których twórczość uznaje za najbardziej inspirującą wymienia m.in. Billa Laswella, Future Sound of London, Underworld, Fanu czy Loxy. Występował dotychczas u boku takich postaci jak Inside Info, Eveson, Tidal, Atmospherix, S13 czy Intakz. Uważa, że każdy rodzaj muzyki może być dobry, jednak szczególnie ceni sobie w muzyce siłę jej oddziaływania na emocje i wyobraźnię oraz psychodeliczność co słychać zarówno w jego produkcjach, jak i w selekcie prezentowanej podczas występów djskich.
