DESCRIPTION

theTomWeekly.com - An ONLINE MAGAZINE featuring satire, commentary, current events, critical thought, humor, critical thought humor, etc. It skewers. It provokes. It laughs, cries, slices, and dices.

I'm irreverent but respectful, eccentric but pragmatic, and my brand of humor is dry—with some moist overtones. ("HOW DRY IS IT!? It's so dry . . . .") And I thank the universe every day for the support and love of my wife, Norma.

Who I'd like to meet:

Al Franken, Diane Rehm, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Amy Poehler, George McGovern, Robert Pirsig, Tina Fey, Stephen Hawking, Ira Glass, George Harrison, Bart Ehrman, Plato (for a little extra erudition), Stephen Colbert, Gerry Eggan (the most influential school teacher I've ever met), Terry Gross, Albert Einstein, all of the truly anonymous philanthropists, Hillary Clinton, and Rush Limbaugh (just to keep it "fair and balanced")
