Hello.

Just a quick spam i'm afraid. I've just completed a music video for MARILLION so thought I'd post it up for you to see.

http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=XdQcujyhq7E

If you like it, pass it on to as many people as possible as the more hits I get the more chance I have of being paid. Take a look and feel free to leave a comment on YouTube. Thanks a lot,

Rob

Hello hello......

Many a fine gig to be attended dear folks.

AWESOME COLOR - this Thursday - but you already know about this one. I bet my David Hasslehoff-signed speedos on this gig being the one to make you scream....

Yet there be more....

Wednesday 25th June, 8pm, £5/£4 flyer/NUS

Apollo 15 & Giddy Equations presents Lady Fortune + Just Handshakes + The Locals + You Are The Proles

In "The Prince", Machiavelli says Lady Fortune only rules one half of a mans fate, the other half being his own will. By the end of the show I'd bet all will. With art-rock and indie-punk bases all covered by this hugely talented band that takes influence from The Strokes via Belle and Sebastian they quickly began support slots with the likes of The Pigeon Detectives, The Young Knives and The Paddingtons.

Thursday 26th June, 8pm, £5/£4 flyer/ NUS

Apollo 15 presents Mugstar + Celebrity Love Crisis + Thrive + Jono

Sea Record’s Mugstar are the sound of 10,000 suns exploding, pulsing with repetitive beauty, pounding like a supersonic mantra. They set sail for the sun in 2002 and have completed numerous voyages with the likes of Mogwai, Melt Banana, Onieda, Acid Mothers Temple and Part Chimp. The band recorded one of the last sessions for the late great John Peel and featured in his festive 50.

Celebrity Love Crisis have emerged from the ashes of National Grid HVRP to produce progtastic metallic juicy riff filled scientifantastic bon bombs.

Hello Tom.

This gig is gonna be one of the highlights of the year......

Saturday 7 June, 8.00 - Apollo 15 presents...

ROMI MAYES

with support from Boss Caine + Ellen & The Escapades + Mark Wynn + Andrew Neville

This experienced and talented Canadian singer-songwriter has shared stages with the likes of Ricky Skaggs, Billy Joe Shaver, Joe Ely, Fred Eaglesmith, Sue Foley, Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Butch Hancock, Gurf Morlix, Martha Wainwright and Hayes Carll. "This is the sort of sound you’d want to hear pouring out of roadhouses as you drive up expecting to get drunk and maybe fall in love." - Americana UK Magazine

Tickets: £7/£5 flyer/NUS (print off a flyer or pick one up from basement)

In association with House Concerts York -

Wednesday 11 June, 8.00

Apollo 15 & Giddy Equations presents….

Guilt Pursuit + Honeytone Cody + The Carlyle Group

Guilt Pusuit incorporate lots of varied influences, from Sonic Youth to Nick Cave. Their new song, however, sounds quite like an Arabian disco, so that shows what they're about really! Expect a fine collision of the raw and the cooked from Leeds’ hottest new band.

Tickets: £5/£4 flyer/NUS

Thursday 19 June, 8.00

Apollo 15 & Soup present…..

Awesome Color + The Buccaneers + Phonebook + Lights In The Sky

Probably the best rockin’ line-up of the year! Michegan’s Awesome Color are a stompin’ drone-rock day-glo answer to the Stooges.

Tickets: £5

Tickets available from www. picturehouses. co. uk or 0871 704 2054

Hello.

Saturday 19th April 8.00pm

Apollo 15 presents Mossyrock + Broken Belles + Edwina Hayes + Ellen

Experimental combo Mossyrock from Brooklyn blend electronic and folk pop. Their rich, ethereal melodies are like the greatest daydream you never had. Broken Belles’s lyrical and musical influences stretch far and wide, their sound combines fluid acoustic and languid harmonies to a beautifully uplifting effect. Edwina Hayes’ sweet americana country soul will melt you heart and sooth your ears. Ellen’s understated yet beguiling lyrics are delivered with a vocal that reminds one of Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval. An occasion not to be missed.
