I try to be as versatile as I possibly can. Playing several different genres and musical stylings. Thus making me available for just about any job thrown at me. I am available for spot "hired gun" fill-in roles, artist showcases as well as studio and road/tour work.
I have played a little bit of everything. Cut my teeth on country/bluegrass and southern gospel. Progressed to southern rock, modern rock and some heavy metal. When I relocated to Kansas City picked up on black gospel/r&b, funk and modern praise & worship. After living here a while I decided to expand my abilities. Learning some of the local favorites to Kansas City - blues/jazz stylings. Now have a total 31 years experience playing bass. Singing experience is now at 38 years experience. I have sang solos as well as background vocals for various groups and music shows throughout the years.
Raised all my life in an Assemblies of God ministers home. I have been
around it all! Began singing at the age of 6, learned a total of 7 different
intruments along the way. At the age of 13 I latched onto the bass guitar.
Love the feeling of being the "concrete" or the "foundation" keeping the
band together as a solid piece of musical "machinery".
I have played for some of Nashville's soon to be rising stars in the music industry Chad Gentry, and newly signed SONY Nashville artist, Josh Thompson. I'm sure you will hear from them both in the near future. And while playing for Josh opened with him for Josh Gracin. As well as recently playing for Scott Ford opening for Jamey Johnson.
Chad Gentry's current single "You Chose Me" is being aired nationally on Christian Adult Inspirational Radio. So call and make a request if you like listening to it here.
Stage experience includes having shared the stage with or played for the following artists:
Lindsey Phillips
Josh Thompson
Thomas-Marx
Chad Gentry
Josh Gracin
Candy Coburn
The Scott Ford Band
Jamey Johnson
Bleu Edmondson

I USE DR STRINGS
MM5-45 Fat Beam Marcus Miller
"FAT-BEAMS" Marcus Miller Signature Series. Stainless Steel Bass Strings on a Round Core. Marcus Miller has personally worked with DR to develop a new and improved version of one of the best stainless round wound bass strings on the market. The effort took over a year, and the result is a "fatter, deeper, smoother" string that satisfied Marcus Miller's demanding standard. Fatter tone. Deeper sound, smoother feel and response are the qualities that separate Marcus Miller "Fat-Beams" from all other ordinary bass strings. New "Fat-Beams" are also more consistent in feel along the length of the string, as well as string to string.

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.
