Additionally in 2008, “Thank God We Got Good Friends” from the Vicious Times album, was prominently featured on episode 102 of ABC TV‘s Drama: ELI STONE.
Vicious Times continues to be recognized as an important musical work in Argentina. Metro 95.1 recently devoted a half hour special on June 20, 2009 celebrating Mr. Geiger and the success of the album.
Tom recently co-hosted the Simon Lee & Alvin Show on Radio KUL in Malaysia where they referred to Tom as "an international sensation...a real winner...2009's successor to Calvin Harris".

Remember Slam Bam Boo, the Cleveland techno-pop group led by singer Scott Hanson? Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails. Heard of 'em?) joined when Exotic Birds went on hiatus in '87 and played on the single White Lies/Cry Like a Baby. Boo's first single, House of Fire, actually received extensive airplay on WMMS. After SBB broke up in 1989, Hanson went on to launch Hanson: The Movie (with Reznor programming keyboards), in the early-'90s. Somewhere along the way, Hanson became a really good Italian cook and decided to open his Scotti's Italian Eatery around the corner from the Beachland on E. 185th Street. We send folks to his restaurant all the time and he's been very generous to treat some of our traveling musicians to his great food because he's a personal fan. So now after years of musical retirement, Hanson's back to performing and we're happy to host him and the Champagnes at the Beachland
