   About Tom Janssen
I'm not Dutch in any way. But I am s-l-i-g-h-t-l-y Belgian. But not much. Well, 7 letters much anyway. Amongst other things.

I play original instrumental music and cite Martin Carthy, Bert Jansch, Michael Hedges, Bill Frisell, Pierre Bensusan & Leo Kottke as primary influences.

The current tunes posted are old and smell funny. But I hope you like them all the same. They like you. Once I get my recording head on (very soon) there shall be a merciless cull and new tunes will appear.

'Neals Tune' was recently featured on both of Tom Robinsons Radio 6 shows and subsequently I was invited to play a 3 tune set live on air on his Tuesday night show. What a blast! I even got to meet Guy Barker in the foyer. I was proper star struck, let me tell you.

My EP, 'Live At The Badgers Arse' is now available.

It's FREE so let me know via message or comment if you would like one.

Hey dude,

sorry, long absence, hope the music's still flowing.
Nothing on the del Toro front yet...but a friend showed me a fantastic film - 'Dagon', you might like to check out if you haven't already!
Bumped into an old friend last week, somehow it came out that he has also become a Lovecraftian! Wonders never cease!

any day next week however (bar tuesday) would be lovely and I note it's your day of birth next sat also, so we can have joint birthday curry!!
