Tom started playing guitar at the young age of 7 after he saw his dad's feeble attempts at learning guitar and thought he could do better. Flute followed shortly after due to having a spare instrument in the house courtesy of his big brother. He started playing sessions in 1999 age 8 at Liberty Hall Studios, Barnet. A short time later at age 10, he was accepted onto the Band Academy Course at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford, the youngest ever to be offered a place.
In May 2004, Tom played in the first National Youth Rock Orchestra performance at the Purcell Room, Southbank, London.
Following this he has been playing regular sessions and gigs around the UK, both solo and with his own band Motherbucker, voted most improved band in the South's Battle of the Bands 2006. During this year he also organized a music festival for the Children of Chernobyl Lifeline to raise much needed funds for the charity.
Tom plays bass guitar to a high level and achieved a Distinction in his last exam. He is a first flute and first guitar in a Symphonic Wind Band that plays movie, show tunes and classical musical to raise money for local and national charities.
Tom has played with various well known artists as Chad Smith and Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers), Herbie Armstrong (Van Morrison), Mike Rutherford, Kenny Jones, Natasha Bedingfield, Kelly Clarkson, Brian Henry and many more. He also plays jazz gigs locally and in London.
He is soon to embark on a tour with the Ford Focus Car Parts Orchestra with the London Symphony Orchestra playing dates in London, Glasgow, Liverpool and more dates soon to be released.
Tom is now studying a Music Production Diploma at the Academy of Contemporary Music where he is regularly recording and producing bands and artists.
Tom started writing moods one day on a long trip up to London. During the trip, he thought about how an album hadn't been done before which portrayed the human feelings. Thinking on this, he soon started writing the album. So far he has written over 14 Moods which will be for public release within the next 6 months.
