GROWING UP: Howdy, my friends. First of all, I'm not really 99, I just didn't sleep well last night. I'm a singer/songwriter/recording artist, raised on the dusty plains of Texas, given reprieve from a life in the dirt in the mid-80s by the folks of the rainy Pacific Northwest, when one of my songs on cassette tape became the most requested song in the history of KEZX radio in Seattle. I moved there and found a new way of life among the ancient trees and mountains and rivers and islands. Since 1985 I've been writing songs and recording new albums every few years, occasionally touring to play concerts around the country.
MY MUSIC: My music is a reflection and expression of who I am and what I live and love: a journal of sorts of the life I live. Almost all my songs contain references to living things; nature; natural elements, the seasons and weather. I have always felt acutely connected to the weather and it finds it's way into my songs of love and friendship and soulful evolution. You can listen to samples of my music, read my humorous monthly ramblings and find out about concerts and order CDs by going to www.michaeltomlinson.com
New CD: Yesterday (Dec 7, 06) I began recording my first full band CD in nine years. I'm putting together a wonderful group of musicians and very happy that I'm finally getting back to the studio. I'll definitely keep you up on our progress.
Good afternoon, I know that you are probably way to busy to have noticed this last night, but I thought that I would point it out. As I drove home from the Bivalve Bash on Samish Bay to Seattle, the moon was rising and looked exactly as you described it in your song! I don't how many people realized it was a perfect evening for seeing the full moon. This evening, I will be driving back from SE King County in the direction of Mt Rainier and it will be interesting to see if it is also such a nice sunset and moon rise as yesterday evening.

Hello Michael, Sending a melody of hugs your way. Still love your music.... from the eighties on. Seeing you in Ventura around that time has left a clear vision still today of the wonderful energy of the theater and your heartfelt songs. Thanks my friend.
