HOW WRONG COULD I BE was written very recently and I love the song so much I couldn't wait to put it out here; it comes from my heart and soul. ONE LITTLE KISS was written very quickly over a weekend and couldn't wait to be performed and sung; it was inspired by one very special person and will always be special to me. DARK MOMENTS is indeed a dark song and very sad but we've all been there and experienced this intensity at some time. I WANT TO BE THERE WITH YOUagain written from real experiences about that yearning to be with someone who is far away. I love the seductive rhythm of the song and I think the organ works really well. DON'T SEND ME TO HELL It was a pleasure to play this and big thanks to a certain drummer for his hard work here; what sounds like a sax is actually me on clarinet-----------------------------------
CAN'T LEAVE YOU ALONE is just a bit special for me out of all the many songs I've written; this version is extended and has my favourite bassplayer and drummer on board ------------------------
I WANT YOU TO HOLD ME is my latest release: this song pushed its way to the front of a very long line of songs waiting to be recorded and has a quality which I like a great deal. It's just me on piano, plus drums, bass and a friend on Irish fiddle which I particularly wanted.
WON'T SEE ME FOR DUST started life as a purely accoustic version but came to life when I added me on sax, some strings and I particularly love the drum work which gives a lot of drama to the breaks.
YOU PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME was written in 2007 over a weekend and has a powerful message about all those things women feel!--------
YOU STOLE HIM is more jazz/fusion than blues and was a joy to play and sing; this track is now playing on jazz radio shows around the world and is to be featured on The Jazz Network..............-------
