..Tommy Fields is a singer/songwriter/composer based in the sunny, smog soaked city of Los Angeles, CA. He was raised in a small, one-stop-light town in Indiana. There, he played in rock bands, played sports, hopped trains in the local grainery, and anything else that required creative fun (cause there wasn't a lot to do). Growing up in one of the poorest rural areas of the Hoosier state gave Tommy a different perspective on life and the meaning of things...............Once in LA, Tommy played with different musicians and bands until a brief stint with Duff McKagen, Matt Sorum and Slash (Guns and Roses) in the pre-Velvet Revolver band propelled Tommy in an exciting new direction...............Recently, Tommy has been getting songs placed on most of the network and cable TV channels, including the shows One Tree Hill, Notes From the Underbelly and Bionic Woman. He also wrote, produced and performed tracks for several indie films including Gashole and Orgies and the Meaning Of Life. Tommy also works as a session singer on TV commercials and soundtracks, and will be heard on some very popular video games (coming soon)................The songs and music Tommy writes are an authentic blend of acoustic, rock, folk, indie and pop, that utilizes the cello and other stringed instruments, as well as the kitchen sink (when needed). Tommy's approach to music is heartfelt, passionate and staying "open" (in an ego challenged business). Tommy also has been co-writing with several different people.
