    .. .. .. .... .... .... ...... ....I am an award winning musician that has toured roughly 80,000-100,000 miles across America. I have had the benefit of touring with and opening for dozens of National rock and metal bands. Music is very unique indeed and by far my best skill and way to expres myself. It seems musical expression isn't as free now. That has not changed me at all.Before you could express yourself more freely through music. Now things are quite different. Real music and real bands are reeling now. A great deal of people now admire groups, (not bands)that play word, rhyme and light extravaganza games with no real instruments. It is way too hollow for me. I have faith it will change back. I dream of it and await the challenge to tour more and be regarded with more respect for my passionate skills. There should be no rules with music. You just play what you want and hope that people like it. It seems most everyone is following the same verse, chorus, verse, chorus format. It also seems most everyone is following the same 3 minute radio rule. Well, I'm here to break the rules. I'm not following anyone or anything. I'm going to do what I want to do and play what I want to play and with hopes that people feel my passion and musical vision. I play small pubs and large stages as long as people enjoy my music. I perform an incredible 1 man show and on occasion do a full band with professional friends and bandmates too. I live as a working musician and teach and record bands as well at the KOMPOUND. To date, I am on 14 full length Cds with many bands. I do session work on drums, guitar, bass and vocals. Connect with me at www.kompoundmusic.com and I hope to see you at a show.
