This site is for fans of the bands I played around Nashville, Tn with during the 80's and 90's as well as a link to what I'm currently up to now. I thought it would be a great way to spread some Rn'R love and give folks a way to hear some of the tunes I've recorded through the years.
Back in the eighties I had the distinct pleasure of playing with Mr. Hoppie Vaughan for 15 years in a band that went through quite a few name changes such as The Weebils, Working Mothers, Big Dawg, Ten Ten, and lastly Blackbone! Whew! LOL! The members were Hoppie Vaughan/bass, Ralph Pace Jr/Drums, and Jim Wilson/keys and somewhere around 89' Mr. Wilson departed and we became a POWER trio! Anyway, we recorded alot of material and had alot of fun playing live around the area and had a wonderful and very supportive fan base which I felt never got enough thanks from us! I hope you will enjoy hearing the old tunes and very soon I will have some way to purchase/download them and you will be able to jam out to your hearts content!HA!
I also played in another band called Uncle Sam that has one tune represented here that had a good run in the local nashville area.It was a heavy funk/rock power trio with a stellar frontman Kyle Level/lead vox,Dave Fowler/bass,and Kenny "RHINO" Earl on mammoth drumkit! We produced one CD "Stand Down" which I hope to have available for download sometime in the near future! Pleeze stay tuned for developements. If you'd like to hear some other "Uncle Sam" tracks I played on, check out Dave Fowler's myspace site (www.myspace.com/rknrll1) because thats me playing guitar on all of those tracks.
I spent last year playing with "The Rockn' Load Show" doing a once a week Rock showcase at Code Blue and we jammed with quite a few great local and national acts and assorted "Rock Star" types which was alot of fun! Got to get those 100 watters dusted off and breathing fire again!
BUT NOW I'M BACK rawkin' hard with my newest combo "IRON AGE" (www.myspace.com/ironageband) and what a super aggregation it is! The line up is Greg Mangus/Lead Vox, Craig Deloach/Drums, Roger Osbourne/ Keys & Vox, Chop Blevins/Bass,Chad Selby/ Guitar, and yours truly spankin' some plank! This band really is a dream come true for me because each of the players are stellar in their own right but when we jam together it's RIGHTEOUS!!!!!!!! If you really like to RAWK and PARTY HARD then this is the gig for you! We're playing all the great hard rock tunes that radio refuses to play that we all grew up on and have instilled in our DNA! It's time to bring back the good ole days of ROCKIN' hard, fast, and heavy so come down and catch us in the flesh and let's THROWDOWN!!!!!!
I hope you'll come back often and catch up on what is most current with me and please let me know how I rate on the "ROCK" meter by leaving your comments especially on the MAP spot! Thanx for stopping by my lil' site and remember to always keep her on "eleven"!
