It was great being in the show with you! You were so funny! funnier than me even! lol Thats not meant as an insult... I am still a rookie Beaner's was my 10th show. My own husband said you were the funniest comedian hes ever seen. I'm thinking of leaving him!
Impressive show at Beaner's in Duluth on Saturday night! Its so great to see a comedian with such an original style & unique material. I'm still laughing at some of your material. You were definitely a crowd favorite. I hope you do more shows up north & wish you continued success!
Sorry I missed your call a week ago. Often when I don't return a call immediately I forget to do it altogether. For a while when people called and it wasn't convenient from me I would just answer and tell them that I would call them back right away. That worked pretty well and I should probably go back to doing that. Sometimes I wouldn't call them right back, though, and I think that that's worse than not answering in the first place. It's like someone's saying your name to get your attention when they are right next to you and you say, "Hold on a second," and then you continue doing what you're doing for several days without acknowledging them again. Answering right away brings you in closer contact with them, is what I'm saying. They know that you're there and just about ready to talk to them. If you don't at that point, it's not only rude it's also misleading. I think that I should continue doing what I'm doing (not answering and trying to call the person back right away) but I should just make sure to get back to them. I'll give you a call a little later and if you're busy you can do whatever you do in this situation. I would just let me go to your voicemail and then try to call me back right away, but if you don't, I understand because that's what I did to you.
There is an ever-increasing list of things that I liked in high school (or before) that I think is stupid now. Most of it is music. I used to like Third Eye Blind and the Dave Mathews Band. It's embarrassing now. There are some movies I liked then that I have since re-watched and they are corny and terrible. I'll give you a list sometime, if you want. I wonder if the movies that I really like now will be awful ten years from now. It scares me a little. I don't want to recommend movies or music to anyone on the off chance that I will regret it when I'm 37. I'll just keep it under my hat and try not to act favorably when viewing or listening to something. That should work pretty good. Maybe we could talk about this further in the near future. I'm going to a movie tonight, but I don't want to tell you which one just yet in case you might ask me if I like it or not. Talk to you later.
Set of three beautifully designed, solid sterling silver bangles, each of which feature one of the three words that create the path leading to success! Each word is emblazoned with an oxidized finish so you will easily be reminded of your intention to achieve all that you want.
Ben and Jerry's used to have a pistachio flavor ice cream that I liked a lot. I'm sure it had some sort of name that used alliteration or sounded like something in our pop culture (Cherry Garcia) but I don't remember what it was. I wish they still made it, but I'm kind of glad they don't because I want to lose weight. I bought some pistachios recently and I like them a lot. I'm not sure why I don't buy them more often. They are high in fat, but also high in protein. I guess they are good for you, but only if you don't eat too many of them. I like cashews a lot, too. I guess I like almost every nut. Walnuts are very good. Give me a call later and we'll talk about it.
When I was in second grade Mrs. Appel would reward us if we finished with our work early by letting us listen to headphones in the back of the room. I don't remember what we could listen to, but if I remember I'll let you know. One time I was listening to something with Clayton Hanson and I started imitating a popular commercial at the time (again, I'll have to get back to you, all I remember is that the commercial had a skeleton and it was wearing glasses) and my imitation was so loud the whole class turned back to stare at me. I was facing the opposite direction, so I didn't notice. The reason I was speaking so loudly was because I was listening to headphones and didn't realize I was raising the volume of my voice to hear myself better. I don't know if everyone laughed at me or not, but it was really embarrassing.
Why do a bringer show for a six-minute set when you can record your very own 1/2 or 1 hour standup comedy CD in a popular comedy theater right here in Hollywood.
We set up the stage, sound, lighting, audio and video recording and the theater. All you have to do is show up and dazzle your friends with your act.
A comedy CD will pay for itself the weekend of your first road gig selling them. People want to take a piece of home after shows. Give them what they want and grow your fanbase, make money and have fun while doing it.

Tonight @ Mad Jack's in Vadnais Heights, we are doing our weekly open mic. Just wanted to drop a bulletin to let you guys know, this has been a great room, and great crowds so far. The owners have been pleased, and have been very good to us along the way.
If you haven't done this room before, I hope you come out tonight. Showtime is between 9:30 pm and 10 pm. ALL comics are welcome. If you come out and perform, you get FREE all you can eat fajitas. Pretty awesome food.
All types of comedy are encouraged. I want this to be a good show each week, and in order to do that we need some fresh faces.
Who are we? We are young people from the Twin Cities who are pissed off at politics as usual and want to have a say in the policies that govern our lives. There are a whole lot of us, and if politicians want our votes they need to get serious about the issues we face every day.
What we want… At the end of the day, what we want is simple—a fair chance to get an education, a job and a place to live in a safe and sustainable world regardless of sex, race, class, identity or ability. We pay taxes, we vote and we want to live in a country that respects young people and invests in us to succeed. We're not asking for handouts. We're demanding fairness and smarter priorities.
We did the research … And man was it a lot of work! Here are the candidates we think best reflect the needs and values of young people in the Twin Cites.
