MY MUSIC: Currently expanding to encompass every genre in what i write, i like to consider my music currently as thoughtful, piano based pop...although you may hear some rock, jazz, electronica, and classical in the mix as well.............................................................................................................
GENERAL: I hate sitting still and activities that include sitting still such as reading, watching TV, or movies. I like to be active, fidgeting, drumming, singing, playing the piano, working out, making hip hop beats and pretending i'm an R&B singer. There's also a part of me that is intensely drawn to nature. Stick me outside in the woods and i'm a happy camper.

tom, finals are finally complete (yay). I'm sorry to hear about your father. i just went though a similar experience with my dad in the fall. its not an easy thing in any respect. ryan and darren both mentioned your new EP though. i cant wait to hear it!! i think the end of summer bash sounds pretty sweet. you'll have to keep me posted. hopefully this summer will hold at least one trip up there to see you guys! its been too long! take care, karin

Yeah, it's been awhile!! Nice to hear from you! Life is good!! God is good so I'm doing alright! Music is progressing fine as well...I've started a new music project with a friend of mine that I am excited about...it's called Wright's Flying Machine. We've got a myspace up! There's always been a spark to your music that has drawn me in, and I appreciate that.
That's great to hear you're out of the parents' house; unfortunately for me, in ways, and fortunately for others, I am back with the parents after about 5 months living with my now ex-girlfriend.
Things are looking up, as I change my approach to writing the music, with help from guitar-driven 80's and 90's rock and jazz piano (can't stop listening to Vince Guaraldi now that the time is appropriate) and lyrically I'm just experimenting wildly.
Glad to hear everything's going well, it's too bad though you don't have much time for music...me, I have way too much time, and I'll probably push out a song after this weekend because of it!
