   About Tommy Stokes
Home style folk/blues/country/bluegrass. Many original tunes from way back (1977 to present). Many envirionmental favorites (The Tree, Sitting On a Cloud, My Beautiful Flower), and odes to fallen friends (The Bluesmaster), and fun-type singalong stuff (Barbeque Sauce), and just downright depressing stuff like (One More Suicide) written at age 15 years old. Boy, was I lucky to grow older, if not up. Of course, love songs abound (Everybody Loves Somebody, 4U for you, Love Is..., The Unicorn, ect.) The songs, like me, refuse to grow up. Here's a podcast: Evening Porch Jam
And, with the twelve string at my sister's house in Apopka, Florida Sister's Backyard Jam
And, a little something recent, at the Sanford Wine Company...

Hi. Concentrated cannabis hemp oil (Indian hemp, ganja, dagga,
marijuana) can cure cancer and many other serious illnesses. Please
watch Rick Simpson's "Run from the Cure" at http://www.phoenixtearsmovie.com/. Please read my book "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" online free at http://jackherer.com/chapters.html.
It is all about the history and many uses of cannabis hemp. We can end
hunger, cure cancer and reverse the Greenhouse Effect with cannabis
hemp!

Yaaah! Wonderful news. Life's little curve balls, never know what's coming around the corner! That's great, congratulations, so glad it's working out for you. I'll have to check it out when it's up on your myspace. Keep up the good work, plenty of encouragement left in me, so we'll keep in touch! :) Very cool, be safe, and prayers to all cancer patients, remission folks, and family and friends who's been affected by this disease. Take care :) Nathalie :)

Hey Tommy,

I wanted to thank you for the kind comment you left me, and apologise for the late reply. Things have gone awry with MySpace and I've been trying out loads of other stuff (multi-tasking has yet to become my strong point), etc. Crazy! :-)

Your words were so beautiful - you are so right. God is nearer to us than we could imagine - all you have to do is ask Him, and He grants the supplicant his prayers, so long as it is inherently for what is best. You most certainly have a big heart, and even though I have never met you, I can feel it. God bless you x100000! :-)

And a HUGE thank you for putting my banner in your influences box, Tommy - means the world.

Hope you're well, and that you're having a wonderful week!

Best wishes, and God bless,

Adam ;o)

Thanks Tommy, very nice email, so good to hear what you're up to/working on. I'm sorry to hear you've endured so many loved ones to cancer, no words to describe what you've gone through. My ex is still alive but it changed him quite a bit, both physically and emotionally. Was hard. I usually like to donate to the Cancer Society and probably will the rest of my life. Mostly because of seeing what him and many nice folks went through in Norway at the hospital. My grandmother and my father had cancer so it runs in my family. It's actually my mom's biggest fear, to have it. She lost a very dear friend to it several years back and this lady (was a French teacher in her '30s, passed away at a young age) suffered a lot and it was a big loss (I knew her well too). Very sad. Anyway, sorry to keep rambling but thanks Tommy, and keep in touch. If I can help, let me know :) Take care, Nathalie :)

Hi Tommy, I checked out your site when you did the friend request and it's pretty cool what you're doing. Kudos to you for speaking out and having a heart. My ex-fiance had cancer when I moved to Norway (moved to be with him while he went thru chemo) and it was a hard disease to watch him go through and witness so intimately with. I stayed at the hospital for the summer he was there getting treated and saw a lot of people in hardship (the hospital is the main cancer hospital in all of Norway so patients come there to get chemo/operations/radiation ect... paid by the government). I really think any disease is ugly and awful, I've only been close to cancer but am sure any other is just as terrible. Good luck with all the hard work, and keep up the good job! Cheers to you, Nathalie
