About me:
Hey, what's up everyone? Tommy Torres here. I live in Oklahoma City. I've been married now for 6 years on Aug 9. We had our first baby in August 06. We had a boy and named him Thomas Axel, after my wifes Grandfather and Father. We recently found out we have another on the way.
I used to work for a company called General Dynamics for about 6 years. We basically built computer networks at Air Bases around the world. With GD I got to travel to Kunsan South Korea, Dayton and Cleveland Ohio, Niagara Falls, Hawaii, Guam, Misawa Japan, and Ft. Walton Beach Florida.
I also used to play in a band with my bud from high school, Joe Chambless, which also included Kirk Campbell and Cory Boatright. We played in that band for about 12 years before finally calling it quits. We accomplished some pretty cool things during that time as an independent band. We recorded 3 albums, had 3 songs make it on the top 5 National Pure Rock Report charts, gigged around nationally headlining and also opening for some big name bands. And we also acquired endorsements from the Carvin guitar company.
After that band I played for about a year with another OKC band called Veehr and recorded a couple of albums with them.
Currently, my wife and I are real estate investors, with 11 rental properties. These keep me pretty busy with maintenance and renovation work. We're always on the lookout for the next deal.
I'm also in the Navy Reserves, working as an electrician for the Sea Bee's. Our Battalion is deploying to Iraq next year.
