My Musical God - Stevie Wonder - since his 'Key Of Life' album changed my life at the age of 9. If not for him, I would have not existed till now. He is not only a musical genius but also a messenger who is obedient to God. I would forever be thankful for him and keep trying to reach my highest ground!

ORGANICALLY AFRO ASIATIC. This is who I am.
This is the title of my debut album coming to you next month, it took me 10 years in NY but God prepared me for a reason.
From growing up in the funkiest city in Japan OSAKA to finding my second home in the Big Apple, this album sincerely represents who I was yesterday, who I am today, and who I will be tomorrow, mirroring my eyes through living in the very different two biggest countries, in the far east and the west.
It sure is the toughest business in the world in the toughest city I am in, but I m a LEO queen born in the year of TIGER from OSAKA, I am a triple threat fearless Osakan woman and with faith in God nothing can intervene my intentions and creations! My parents ain't no gangsters but they used to think and act like they were, and I certainly got their blood and that's why I survive!
I don't know if anybody noticed but I tell you how OSAKA and NYC is the same, besides the only once difference - the people are only one race, or multi-race.
But they are both real, down-to-the earth, funky funny and optimistic, walk fast and very impatient for small things and curse the hell out in the cars in traffic jam to the reckless taxi drivers, and it is all about making your way in the business world going for the best, but knows how to celebrate and enjoy life!
I have been blessed to work with such musical geniuses on this project: My impeccable producer, the funky Brazilian brother JAMBA who has made my dream come true exactly the way I wanted. Wycliffe Gordon, best known from Wynton Marsalis Septet, is noted as the best trombone player in the world. And Brazilan guitarists Eli Menezes, the drummer/producer Richie Pena, and the Grammy Award-winning engineer/producer Scott Jacoby all added to the mix.
