Starting out as a duo in Alameda, between high school carpoolers Kevin Brunetti and Jara Queeto, Tomorrow Is Ours quickly developed a fierce sound which emphasized the "acid" in Acid Jazz. Inspired by early-nineties rave culture and the hipster grooves taking over New York and San Francisco at the time, the Tomorrow Is Ours Trio gained a small but faithful following in the East Bay. The band dwindled upon Kevin Brunetti's translocation to NYC, but never died.
The music, being way ahead of its time, is still poised to whip up some dancefloors in the not-so-distant future -- maybe even Tomorrow.
