Formed in 1996, Tomorrowpeople released two CDs, 1997's Golden Energy and 1999's Marijuana Beach before disappearing in 2000. Founding members Gibson and Powerchurch reorganized the band in 2008 with original drummer Ben Burt for a series of shows and a third album, Bounced and Renounced, which received a digital release in Sept 2008.
The Tomorrowpeople's complete catalog is now available for download from iTunes, eMusic, Amazon.com, Napster, Rhapsody and Yahoo!

"When you spoke about two kinds of people, you said there was good and evil...I thought you meant Evel Knievel." (from Operation: Dustoff) What a great lyric. Makes me warm inside every time I hear it. You guys rule.
I am a huge Tripping Daisy fan (someone mentioned you guys on the Polyphonic Spree message board), and I've been searching for some more of the old Dallas psychadelic bands. Glad to see you guys have re-united.
You guys (and Captain Audio) were my favorite local band in the late 90’s. First time I saw you was at some 102.1 event (long before the Edge claimed that slot)…which would have been in August of 97. I went on to follow the ups and downs…the changing of drummers, the switching from bass to guitar…the desert recording sessions…all explained to me on little post cards sent to my house (I think I still have them). I even had a bright orange Tomorrowpeople shirt. For my 20th birthday I received “Marijuana Beach” from a good friend of mine…and then…that was it…no more Tomorrowpeople. Or so I thought.
You guys were my favorite Dallas band in the late 90s. I'm so glad to finally hear Bounced and Renounced - it's even better than I could have hoped for. Please come to Fort Worth soon!
