Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the new experiment. I've started doing something I've been wanting to do for a long time; recording music. Sometimes the music will all be done using keyboards, MIDI, and sequencers, sometimes the songs will be multitracks of acoustic instruments and vocals, and sometimes it will a combination of all-of-the-above.
There's a lot to learn about the arts of songwriting and recording. I would like to post some of the projects I've been working on and I invite your comments. I'm sure there are many of you out there who are quite experienced at this and can offer a few tips. I'm going to start out simple to get the basics down, and then go from there. Hopefully over time I'll gather enough material to put out a CD.
So, thanks for listening, and I hope to hear from you.

I think that robotic missions to the planets is just an amazing feat of science and engineering. With that thought in mind I wrote and uploaded three songs. The first one, "Orbit", is about a probe circling a planet taking pictures and scanning with its instruments. The second one, "The Descent", is about a probe's fiery plunge through the atmosphere, the opening of parachutes, and the firing of braking rockets to achieve a soft landing. And the third one, "Alien Landscape", is about the probe, alone on another world, raising it's camera and sensor boom to sense it's new surroundings. I hope you enjoy these musical images.
