And then, and even if it doesn't have much to do with bossa nova, Lisa simply adores Bob Dylan !!!
Sounds Like

Max & Lisa love warm, vintage sounds. So they're forever listening to music from the 60's! Bossa nova is one of these genres that they cherish. And Tom's Club's bossa nova compositions are very original indeed. Back to the roots of bossa, but with a twist. They also play their own versions of bossa nova classics (mostly Tom Jobim's, hence the band's name), and they can play a few jazzy tunes as well, when they're not covering a good old number from the 60's French pop music...
*** EVOLUTION !!! *** Tom's Club is now in the process of making its music evolve towards more "vintage pop" and less "classical bossa nova". We'll see what comes out of it!
"Mon amie la rose" (Caulier-Lacome) Françoise Hardy 1964.
NEW VIDEO !!! "Träume" (Weyrich-Böttcher, 1970) by Tom's Club
"YOU'D BE SURPRISED" (Berlin), a Marilyn Monroe cover :
Tom's Club existe depuis environ 5 ans.
