So I got a chair thrown at me at an Open Mic tonight by a heckler.
Told me I suck. Told him, "That's what your mother said." Oldest one in the book. A classic. Which I guess if his brain did not process means that his mother is in agreement with her own child that I indeed suck.
Next thing you know he throws a chair at me. Luckily, he had worse aim and power than the guy who threw shoes at Bush. Chair barely grazed me, but it did get on the stage and landed right next to my feet.
His friends and him threatened my life. Not going to those stomping grounds again.
