I was born in Paisley, Scotland ALMOST 40 years ago (I’m in therapy about that just now) and I now live in a small village in darkest Ayrshire.
I trained as a singer at Perth Rock Music college in the 80s and have worked sporadically ever since! When I turned 30, I accidentally became an actor, which is my main occupation now.
I also play piano, keyboards and guitar, and write and record my own stuff.
As a singer, you can hear me on "Destoy Rock and Roll" by Mylo, "Attack of the hundred yard hard man" by Parka, "Hindsight" by Horse and "In Search Of Angels" by Runrig.
As an actor you can see me in Chewin The Fat, The Karen Dunbar Show, Still Game, Only an Excuse and the new Gregor Fisher/Billy Boyd sitcom, "Empty."
On stage, I recently played Danny McGlone in the National Theatre of Scotland’s production of John Byrne’s Tutti Frutti.
I live in a 150 year old cottage with my cat, Chico. I don’t drink or smoke, and I am a spiritualist.

Hi once more Tom That you on the "Wind-Up" again? I'm gonna be in the audience on 22/2/08 11am with the new Service User I support. I would appreciate it greatly if you took the time to say hello to us and maybe Johnny/Phil or Elaine posed for a photo? P.S. I know you guys don't have much time what with the recording and all but you would make the lad very happy. Cheers TT
