Tom Rauschhardt was born the 14th of may in 1979 and began his carrier as musician at the age of 5. For 7 years he was teached the violin and played Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Händel and others.
At the age of 12 he discovered his passion for the guitar and changed the instrument.
In the years 1992-93 he took lessons at the Heinrich Schuetz Conservatorium in Dresden. After he graduated school he went on an International Boarding school in Denmark with music as profile. He participated in a lot of journeys cross Europe and learned a lot about music in different cultures.
The following years was Tom acting as session and studio guitarist and collected a lot of experience in live performance, teaching lessons, recording and TV. During the years, Tom played in different bands and played concert support for Thin Lizzy, Mothers Finest and other.¨
In 2005 he studied guitar at Abi von Reininghaus. After the study also bigger firms got their eyes on Tom..s abilities and today he is working close with a number of sponsors.
In 2007 his first solo record will be released.
Tom combines different styles of guitar playing and his trademark is with no doubt his tone.
Tom Rauschhardt is a guitarplayer who is influenced by players like Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen, Greg Howe and others.
