Tom Stephens and The Retreat are a 4-piece band based in London. With all the members studying at the University of Westminster; taking the songs of lead singer / guitarist Tom Stephens and crafting them as a group, they create their own blend of alternative rock, grunge, indie, and countless other things, taking from a large number of influences both individually and collectively.
The band formed at the beginning of February 2008, and on our music player you will find some tracks we have recorded with producer Tim Vasilakis between March and May 2008, plus live versions of 'This Town', 'A Pantomime (It Follows You Home)' and 'Olivia' recorded in February 2009 for the Bearfaced Podcast. We have an official EP coming out in the next few months which has nearly been completed, so keep your ears open for that.
