Tom Stone is a songwriter whose tunes mine melodicism and psychedelic exploration while maintaining their rock and roll heart.
Tom Stone brings his talent on guitar, piano, organ, and vocals and combines it with his experience from playing in a variety of bands over the years, such as The Winters and Hazey Jane, as well as many others.
The Soldiers of Fortune are made up of Dan Nash (The Winters/Tracy Redhead), who thrashes the drums like a young John Bonham, Tim Byron (Sliced Bread/Lazy Susan) who majestically sweeps the keys with flowing lines and Chris Duffy (The Winters/Tracy Redhead) who plays melodic lead bass, create this enigmatic quartet.
Together they share a love of playing loud and fuzzy, stretching the songs till breaking point or compressing them down and firing them out like a machine gun - laying into the material as the mood and the sound dictates. Using the chemistry that has come from playing together over the years they readily improvise and bellow out the true spirit of Rock’n’Roll of old.

Hey Tommy you little trooper, welcome back!!! I've heard a bit about your purchases OS, I'm green (with envy that is). I'll call you this weekend to hear about it all first hand. Lots to talk about and catch up on.
Hey Tom!!! Thanks for the add, it's nice to have friends. I thought about joining the army once, but I decided that there just would'nt be enough violence. I ended up joining a band instead (and then they joined the army).
Huhar!
First to listen!
Great tracks, Mister Stone!
Watch out though, the lead guitar in Passing Ships In Foreign Lands may actually melt some faces.
So good!
