Jason P. Chavez (DJ4AM) cut his teeth doing radio, poetry jams and club nights during the mid-90's in Fresno, Ca. before moving to San Francisco in 2001. Since then he has released solo outings, over 20 mix cd's, DJed in London, Paris and Barcelona and garnered acclaim as a percussionist, vocalist, producer and DJ with Mush label artist Octavius, Daly City Label artist Dopestyle and SF indy band Black Fiction. DJ4AM has also held numerous DJ residencies in San Francisco, playing a wide range of styles from eclectic chill rooms to booty shaking speakeasies, big room Hip-Hop and Dance. In the works are a series of Re-Edit 12"s, new solo material, new collaborations with MC Dopestyle, L.A. Electro-Sounscapist Nathanial Eras and Avant-Jazz composer Armen Nalbandian.
