    Hessian are excited to announce it's next night on 9th January featuring an awesome double bill! Indiepunk band violet violet, favourites of Artrocker, will be bringing their riotous live show to basement with local support (to be confirmed). Following this Eskimo Twins, fresh from live sets supporting Evil Nine and at Bad Sneakers, will DJ the Hessian clubnight along with Grim Beeper.

    Tickets are available from City Screen basement at £4otd/£3.

    London is pretty hectic dude, ive not been doing a good job of getting to lectures yet, but im sure itll work out ;) Mile End where i live is basicly a giant road of fast food shops, which is great for munchies. Accomidation is terrifying, grey box, feel very weird inside the box, plus its way too hot at times. Want my pens/room back lol. Film studies has been surprisingly good so far too, didnt think i would enjoy that part of the course. How about you? Did you get the new Benga album? I have some wicked new speakers that blast like a motherfucker, which is always nice. xx

    aah so jealous of that. where else did you go? yeah to be fair i have been away, joey, megan, emily and me went to stay with heids in iceland where she lives at the minute so that was pretty amazing. and then me and my friends went down to stay in swanage for a bit too.

    yeah i did alright, pretty chuffed. yeah newcastle it is, cant wait such a cool city, bit of a change from bloody derby thank god! ill have to get your number or something cause i might be popping into liverpool every now and again cause my best mate rosie is going there. think you probably met her when we were younger.

    ive booked hostels in prague and frankfurt. theyre both different to the ones we looked at the other day but will still be full of crackheads and prostitutes. ive had to pay like £10 in booking fees etc so im knocking that off the £120 i owe you which i'll give to you soon. the hotel in prague is gonna cost us about £12 each and the hostel in frankfurt is about £15 each. talk soon xxxx

    Hessian is excited to present Semifinalists at our most intimate gig yet - City Screen Basement Bar on 6th June. The guys promise a blinding show, featuring an awesome new light show! NME described their live show as "a brilliantly bonkers confection: like vomiting up a Ferrari, a gram of coke and a missing child all at once." This one should not be missed for anything!
