Tonaroma, specialized in minimal - and Ambient electronic music,
collects its first album after a series of 8 EP releases.
This LP collects new material plus some of the best tunes and especially the musical and dubby ones.
Of course there is still techno and in between you'll find surprising pop songs.

Tonaroma from Köln / Cologne / Germany is a project aiming to release special and tasteful electronic music, from minimal techno to ambient electronic music, including also more dancefloor orientated DJ-music with a certain sound treatment attitude. Tonaroma is presented by koelnelektro (a cologne electronic music label with a wider music spectrum) and partly distributed under the koelnelektro label.
Cologne is a city with a very deep history of making electronic music and tonaroma aims to contribute another flavor to this by discovering new artists or releasing new styles.
Tonaroma is a new project founded 2009 of Heiner Kruse (also producing music and running a Drum & Bass label) and Boris de Schreisalz (who is a minimal Techno orientated DJ and producer).
Tonaroma ist ein Techno-Minimal-Ambient Projekt, das auf einen modernen, minimalistischen Sound mit einer bestimmten, speziellen Ästhetik ausgerichtet ist. Tonaroma wird von "koelnelektro" präsentiert (ein Kölner Elektronik-Musiklabel mit einem breiteren Musikspektrum) und teilweise auch über das koelnelektro Label vertrieben.
Köln ist eine Stadt mit einer langen Tradition der elektronischen Musikkomposition und tonaroma möchte einen weiteren Beitrag hinzufügen und neue Artists und Sounds releasen.
Das Projekt wurde gegründet von Heiner Kruse (auch ein Drum & Bass Labelbetreiber und Musiker) und Boris de Schreisalz (ein Minimal-Techno orientierter DJ und Producer). Tonaroma sieht seine Künstler als natürliche Geschmacksverstärker mit dem Techno-Sound von morgen.

The Green Man (TGM) is Heiner Kruse from Cologne.
He is founder of Basswerk Records and has also released an album on Combination Records ("You Decide").
As a DJ he goes for Ups and Downs within D&B DJ-Sets, mixing Neurofunk with Dub & Souljungle.
His productions do have a typical Green man Sound, which is usually deep, optimistic and athmospheric - but also varies in hardness intensities between spacy chillers ("Chicks (with Klute)", "Nu wheels") to very hard and dark ravetunes ("Truth", "Technik").
His most played anthemns were Infinity, Illegal, Damn Wire, Feb21st and Ragtime - and his current Hit is called Easy (feat. MC Chevy & Dragoon), a track with a decent guitar quite different from his other music, released on Basswerk 21.
Especially Infinity reached the Germans Club Charts No.1 Position for 3 weeks, the video was played on MTV and reached MTV Dance Top 20 and was released in several versions on different labels.
Green Man is currently working on his second album, and some dubs like "Chainsmoker" in our forum will give you an idea where its going.
Schreisalz is Berlin-born and has already lived out his musical creativity as a six year old.
He regularily DJ's minimal techno and has a lot of experience from also testing his tunes in the club.
Ranging from his tenth to twentieth year of life he ran through continuous education for diverse instruments, including acoustic guitar, transverse flute and percussion.
He discovered his passion for electronic music in 1995, where it didn't take long until he decided to pick up his first turntables, mixer and a bunch of vinyls.
He is also the owner from tonaroma - records and business partner from the "Soundso" techno - house - events".
Johann Lukas creates both, harmonic melodies as well as contemporary sounds.
His music wants to tell stories about life, inspire people's imagination and way of thinking and create positive thoughts.
He considers his music ranging from progressive to deep house and experimental beats - but for sure he always sounds "minimal".
His sound shows versatile production skills, he is not afraid of harmonies and comes with a very modern and electronic vibe.
It’s virtually unthinkable that the native German, born in Düsseldorf, would hit any other direction than electronic music.
Massimo had already begun at the age of 16 as a Hip Hop DJ, performing on various events. The Major Company EMI became interested in Massimo and his band "Colorblind" immediately, and published two EP's and a LP.
In ‘93 Massimo started to develop his music more towards electronic dance, becoming one of the first resident DJ’s of the legendary "Warehouse" in Cologne.
Within a short time his progressive Sets gained momentum, attracting clubbers from all over Germany to see him perform.
He started to receive requests from clubs such as: "Airport"/ Würzburg, "Omen"/ Frankfurt, "Tresor"/ Berlin, alongside other European/US requests.
DJ Massimo had finally found and created his own unforgettable niche in the German Dance Music Scene.
Nathalie is one of the most known german, female DJs with her own special technoid sound. She is artist since 1994 with a lot of experiences (Bookings all over the world).
She's also a great producer and head of her own label:
"ndb musique" !
Nathalie continued to work on all her music productions in a focussed and disciplined way, and used her DJ work at the weekends to help her get new ideas and energies.
Here she is inspired by her special relationship with the audience, as she perceives her success as a symbiosis between herself and the party crowd!
For Nathalie knows instinctively WHEN? WHERE? And WHICH? record is just the RIGHT one for a crowd.
She achieves this by mental communication with the partygoers – the greatest skill a top DJ needs to master.
These skills naturally also influence her music productions.
Lukas Fritscher plays all the relevant clubs throughout Cologne and is well fixed in the city-scene.
He founded own succesfull eventprojects such as Chrome-Kammer as well as Sushi&Helden.
His deep ass-shaking house sound elates also the crowd outside Cologne at those legendary clubs like the Tribehouse in Neuss and the Index in Weilerswist (R.I.P.), the Douala in Ravensburg, the Palais CLub in Munich or even the big festivals - Liga Eletronika, Circle Of Love.
Quit cool are his gigs at the Guarana on Ibiza in summer....only to mention a few.
In 2010 his first Release appaers on Tonaroma Rec.
Born in the „Ruhrpott,“ the German coal mining region in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, and raised in Herdecke, between guitar sounds and synthesizer, it was obvious from the beginning that Sebastian would develop a musical bone.
He enjoyed the electronic sound, which after some club visits resulted in starting his dj career at the age of seventeen. He was part of the legendary Dorian Gray and Omen era.
Now, after nine years, he can look back upon numerous successful gigs without dedicating himself to a particular style.
Starting out with house, he even mixed progressive techno with minimalistic electro beat. In the meantime, he has turned to the rather smooth tech- and minimal house line, in which he is really in his element. Sebastian is not a ..newcomer.
With bookings throughout Germany and abroad, he has made friends of electronic music dancing.
Of course, he still enjoys spining his vinyls, but after having made so many different experiences in a variety of circumstances, in 2008 he has decided, to turn his impressions into practice and instantiate his musical visions in a music studio.
Junghansz is a young German artist and producer.
His tracks are marked by a special melodic touch. They don’t match with any defined genre because Junghansz feels home nearly everywhere.
His music expresses love to nature and at the same time it shows his longing timelessness.
His experimental sounds and rhythms get involved with harmonic elements, which leave space for vocal or instrumental soloists.
Junghansz is open to lots of Music-Projects and so you can be curious to listen to publications in the near future.
You can also be sure about his work becoming bigger.
Ever since his childhood he is a passionate music lover. He attended
"Richard Wagner Regeny " in Rostock and learnt to play the classical
"horn".
Being 13 he became a part of Rostock Youth Symphony Orchestra.
After a long break into normal life he rediscovered his musical roots
in 1999 and is now devoted to electronic music.
In 2003 he founded "Tonsprung" project with Tanic and started dj'ing a
year later.
2007 saw the birth of his solo project under which he now
releases his productions as part of the "Tonaroma" project.
His sound contains some special hypnotic rhythms and combines them with organic
structures and thus creates some dubby but still techno-based musical
aesthetics.
Thomas Frowein is a fresh 21 year old musician from Wuppertal/ Germany
spending every free minute with either producing or mixing minimal dance
music. "Wenn der Platzhirsch weint" is one of his first tracks which
successfully started its journey into clubs @ "Orange Club" (Rheingold).
Void Pointer is Peter Spaargaren, spawn of the Dutch polders, injecting
your speakers with inventive dancefloor material. Addictive as it is
challenging, his music is a combination of thrilling four-to-the-floor techno
and hazardous sounddesign.
Meaty electronic music, drenched in the soul that was used to create it.
Void Pointer doesn't fear the experiment and explores the boundries of dance, while staying true to the sound that defines his work.
Keith303 is based in the Ruhr-Area / Germany.
Writing electronic music since'93, almost every single subgenre has been covered, even though the rootsand passion are all about techno, house and dnb.
His music, detached from the respective style, has always had that
distinctive character that makes up the high recognition value of hisaudible works.
In his youth Pit R Wave was fascinated by the music of Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd
or Jean Michel Jarre.
What interested him most was the atmosphere
electronic music can create.
Over time he learned more about this type
of music. Then he learned to play the guitar and years later when he
played a progressive house track to a live audience, he knew that there
was still more to come.
This was followed by DJ gigs in clubs in his
home town. Through that he was able to get a taste of the music scene.
After that he produced his own music and brought “Party People” to the
dance floor with his Track "LOKOMOS".
He recognized the effect of his own
music on the people. His music should not be obtrusive, but penetrating.
Björn Efinger is a young producer and DJ from South Germany (Baden- Württemberg).
He always had a special connection to music and so he began to play drums when he was nine years old.
Some years later he slid into the electronic music scene and he found his new passion.
With 15 years he began to practice DJing.
Since this day he stood behind the decks for every free minute.
In the last few years he had many special Gigs and in 2008 he began to produce his own tracks.
Now he wants to climb on the next level.
Through the cooperation with Tonaroma he wants become a successful producer and DJ.

Born in Gelsenkirchen, it pulled him fast in the footlights, already in the age of 17
he played on saturdays in the famous Dortmunder afterhour club Factory.
After his abitur he relocate to cologne to study audio engineering at the SAE.
In this time the first release a remix for D.Diggler originate, published on Resopal Schallware.
After that further releases were published on various labels in germany.
Today he lives in Mönchengladbach, doing everything that is connected to audio engineering from supervising bands in studio or in concert to producing his own music.
He can..t specify on any music style because he loves and produce any kind of music.
„Music is my destiny“ describes best his intentions together with his new label Tonaroma Records.
He was born and grew in the small provincial town in the Ukraine, his life was from the very beginning tightly connected with the music, from the children's years Edward was fascinated by it.
Several years later Edward finished the dj school, where was strictly and obtained the first experiment of game after the revolving doors.
After winning back in several clubs of home town, having been nearer introduced to the public to his emotions there was no limit, it increasingly more deeply and more deeply departed to the peace of club industry, with the desire to obtain from it as much as possible.
Re-reading many specialized literature, it began to study some soft on the creation of his personal sound, at this he worked sufficiently long period.
Today he continues to work at new tracks, in the tendencies to attain ever increasing. Are industrious in the studio, he so outstanding fellow in the usual life.
