I started Tone Poet in 2004 with a drummer that I grow up with in eastern WA. However we did not choose the name until we relocated to Seattle WA were we worked hard to build a fan bass for more exposure in WA however after a year we all went are own separate ways. Sins then I have keep the name Tone Poet alive as a sole artist. At the age of 12 I started playing piano but would soon move over to drums at the age of 15 and would play in many different band's around Yakima WA. I grow up listening to band's like Smashing pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, TOOL, Nirvana, Radio Head, Pearl Jam, and many other band's from the 90's. As well as those one hit wonders that have all been forgotten! The first time I picked up a guitar and started singing I was 16 and I haven't stopped sins then. Coming from a small town with friends that were all musicians there was not much to do but smoke pot and play music. We all had talent and would inspire one anther for the next 7 years. Sins then my drive has taken me places that I would have never gone if it was not for my ability to write music. I only hope to inspire my fans as much as they have inspired me to keep going as a musician. Of course we can pick you up. We are planning on doing Thanks giving in Yakima and staying here for Christmas because of the weather on the pass. Let me know when you find out when your flight will be here. What are your plans for Christmas are you going to Yakima or staying in Seattle?
Wow! I agree totally. I get SO frustrated with people who are content to stay ignorant rather than know the truth. I personally think it's because the are either lazy and don't want to take the time, or that they are afraid to find out the truth because it would upset their comfy belief system. People just LOVE to SLEEP!
