About me:

The Tongan Interfaith Collaborative is a non-profit organization under the direction of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center. PCRC of San Mateo has been the umbrella to this organization by facilitating and assisting in our progress. TIC was established in 2003 to assist in the betterment of the Tongan community focusing on the youth in the Penninsula. This organization consists of leaders of the local Tongan denominations, the Police Departments, School District, Probation, Adult School, parents, students and community volunteers and any who believe in the focus of this organization. The TIC has 3 entities in which lies as the foundation of this organization. Fa'a Pasifika, Outreach and Education are all committees that work hard in finding ways to build the relationship between the Tongans and the community. This site, is to continue to help promote our message and desire to help maintain the importance of our people in the Penninsula and continue to learn about the resources available to us and teach the community about our people and how we live through culture, tradition, and understanding.Please stay tuned as we update this site with more of our events!!
