Some twenty years ago, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in New Orleans, this ministry was born under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Lawrence E. Landrum, Jr. The Anointed Voices served the church as the Anointed Voices of the Ebenezer Radio Choir. Tonia Monique Scott has served as our most capable and dedicated director.
It was through their anointing that many doors were opened. The Anointed Voices are participants at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, as well as several other music and cultural festivals.
Tonia Scott and the Anointed Voices were chosen to share their gifts in 3 Major Box-Office Movies:
2004- "Ray" starring award winning Jamie Fox
2005- "The Skeleton Key" starring Kate Hudson
2006- "The Last Holiday" starring Queen Latifah and "LL Cool J"
(Seven members of Anointed Voices were further selected to travel Prague, Czech Republic to complete the filming of 'The Last Holiday')
For over twenty years this group has kept their promise to minister and sing the gospel under the total control of the Holy Ghost. The source of their anointing has come through much prayer, fasting, and sacrifice.
