About me:
Tonic currently has residencies at Urban Bass and Marvel both at Swansea's renowned Monkey and promotes the intimate Vision night at Bar Co (Swansea) every other Thursday. A true eclectrician on the decks, expect everything from the most soulful liquid to tearing techy monsters and everything else in between. Not one to pigeon hole or narrowly define his style, the ethos is, if it feels good, play it. This combined with a tight technical ability on three decks and a pure love of music in all its forms means that he is equally at home playing the warm up, peak time or the coveted last set whilst throwing his hands up, air drumming, singing badly and genuinly letting the his soul flow into the minds and feet of the crowd.
Over the last few years Tonic has performed alongside a list of dnb royalty as long as a person with very long arms including DJ Marky, LTJ Bukem, Fabio, Andy C, Blame, Friction, Zinc, Noisia, Pendulum and Shy FX to name but a few and was lucky enough to play the last set of the 2007 BBC Radio 1 Xtra Bass Tour in Swansea with Stamina MC on vocal duties.
Last but by no means least Tonic is currently in the process of putting together a live dnb show incorporating a DJ, drummer, MC and Vocalist.
