OUR NAME
The name "Tonight We Are" originated with our indecisiveness in choosing a band name. So many catchy names were running through our heads and we couldn't come to a consensus. With the preamble "Tonight We Are" we have the liberty of choosing a new name each and every preformance. The following is a list of names we have thus far used:

While members of the band Tonight We Are practiced last week, some of their fans sat on the carpeted floor of a finished attic and watched a kung fu movie they bought for $2. The volume of the movie was so low it could only be heard between the loud songs. The songs, however, could be heard from outside the house in Dover and downstairs where Jenny Marshall, mother of lead guitarist Eric Loucks, said she’s just glad the kids have places to pursue their interest.
The already limited places where the young musicians can play could become fewer if they lose their favorite venue at the Dover Teen Center. Steve Pappajohn, the center’s director, organizes shows at least once a month with crowds of about 80 kids in a safe setting on Thursday or Friday nights. This youth music scene now could depend on a federal grant, since the director’s salary was cut from the city budget under restraints posed by the city’s new tax cap. A decision on the grant is expected this week.
The federal grant, which was in the final review process last week, could fund the director’s position for three more years. If not, there is no alternative funding in Dover’s current budget.
“In an effort to work with the spending cap, the city manager proposed a budget that cut many key community service items, some which affect kids,” said City Councilor Rick Callaghan. “All of them, I am disappointed in.”

HELP SAVE ELLA BELLA'S!!! The last few months have been tough on all local businesses. Winter has hit us especially hard this year, and things don't look too good for Ella Bella's future. If we don't pull in an extra few hundred dollars over the next couple weeks, Ella Bella's will have to shut their doors for good!
Here's what you can do: Stevie and Vanessa are going to work hard to keep the cafe open for lunch and dinner every day this week. If you could skip going to your usual fast food restaraunt , or favorite hangout spot just once this week, and come support Ella Bella's instead, it would make a huge difference!
