well theres so much music in this world...I'm addicted..
Who is my favourite all time ...probably Madonna. That woman is amazing, I remember parents coming into the shop throwing her album at me demanding a refund " i'm not letting my kids listen to her" they would say...The song "Like a virgin" stirred some emotions all around the world. I had a nine foot poster of her on my wall, my dad loved it..
More so recent last 5 years I've been listening to Latin...not realising that in my younger days, Madonnas La isla bonita has a latin rythym..so it started there and suddenly i found myself addicted again...
I'm a softy for a well produced music of latin mixed into anything...
But locally I love Kantuta...hello Sailor and Ardijah..
Kiwi music surprizes me so much, the talent and the raw-ness intrigues me. I so love Rock..and trained my son to love it too...would put him to sleep with Faith no more, or guns and roses, deep purple and NZ's Dance Exponents.

I worked at Social Welfare , aka WINZ for 6 years as Case Manager and PACE Co ordinator...That means any musician or artist on a benefit or needing govt assistance can be tagged to Pathways Art and Cultural Employment while on a benefit.So no more having to do work non related to your artistic field... ITS A REAL JOB being a MUSICIAN / artist...thank the gods!! I met/ and still meet- the most incredible people our country has to offer...mind blowing!! hehehe
