(ger) - Beatae Memoriae .. .... Beatae memoriae (blessedly remembrance) is the new postcard set and second release from Wundenkuessen photography on Beverina and War Bild & Tonkunstschmiede. It's themed to the German Niederwald Denkmal, a big monument which was constructed in order to commemorate the foundation of the German Empire, after the end of Franco-Prussian War (in 1871). The images themselves seem to be heroic visions of war and peace in a world, filled with pain, suffering, victory and pride. Highlighting the three main statues of the monument, the postcards are designed in different colour scheme: black and white, sepia toning and a regular colour version.
