...........................and all previous members in the tonta massive......Peter and Jannie in Denmark; Javier in Malaga; Consol in Barca; all the youth talent from the creative room project in the meadows and sherwood areas of Nottingham...
Influences
Adverts; Elevators; long journeys in the blistering wind; Idling diesel engines on loose chassis; Ringtones; Bridges under stress; traffic systems; the rumours of hurricanes.....
We have heard some of the music of
Sun Ra;
Basil Kirchin;
John Cage;
Can;
Esquivel;
but would never want to recreate it.
Sounds Like
Cheerful hurricanes from the undergrowth; animated space attack; screaming marmalade; Ice-funk disco meditation.
We make our own instruments and try to make non-music on them. We're intersted in not knowing what we're doing. Orquesta Tonta means Idiots' Orchestra.
Anyone is welcome to make Orquesta Tonta music.But if, for instance, you know how to play the pneumatic hurdy gurdy, then you must not play that. Choose and make an instrument that you can't play. We'd love to see the photos. No-one's made a broken reactor string box for instance. We're not even sure what it might look like.

hola, that sounds great!! I love your definition of an space attack. To me it´s like a mixture of thunders and sensibility. Brilliant, just keep attacking to everything what moves and breathes. loads of kisses from Málaga, y
I think they are great tunes, all of them, but the best is the band image in those pictures, I think they are just beautifull.... By the way, Perpetual Collapse is winshuliasazymezing!!!
